Dr. J. Dylan Webber

Owner/Founder/Doctor of Acupuncture

Dr. Webber is a board-certified licensed acupuncturist and Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM). A born-and-raised local, he continues to serve the greater San Diego community. He graduated Point Loma High and UC Santa Cruz with a Bachelor’s in human biology. Pursuing his interest in healthcare, he graduated with a Master’s of Traditional Oriental Medicine, and a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science.

Dr. J. Dylan Webber’s unique life path has illuminated the demand for healthcare that teaches people how to live healthy and prevent illness. Stemming from the legacy of his father Dr. James T. Webber MD, he was exposed to the power of medicine since birth. Dr. Jim Webber MD matured into providing a holistic and natural approach in Western biomedicine. Dr. Dylan Webber naturally embodied his father’s healing skills and sought to follow in his footsteps.

Years later, he returned to San Diego to help his family deal with his father’s health challenges. He almost immediately enrolled in the Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine program at Pacific College of Health and Science and hoped to learn how to help put his innate healing powers to practical use. Unfortunately, his father passed during the program, and he was going to have to move forward without him.

Now, Dylan works everyday to become a better practitioner and to provide his community with all-natural healthcare to improve the lives of his community. He believes that now, more than ever, is the time to look more towards natural healing and ways to prevent higher risk treatments and to improve the outcomes of Western medical treatments. Integrative care is proving to be the most effective and safe form of medical care, and it is his mission to be at the forefront of this movement.

However, after graduating with his pre-medical degree, his father developed a cascade of misfortunate health problems. Chronic illness developed over many years which exposed him and his family to the broken healthcare system in place here in the United States. Witnessing the challenges that prevented doctors from providing adequate care, and the dealing with the dire consequences that befell his father, Dylan fell out of love with the medicine.

His father provided healthcare to the greater area of San Diego, with his office based on the shore of Ocean Beach. There he served his community for over 40 years. Dylan’s goal is to take up the reigns that his father started and keep the Dr. Webber name alive.
